As a Quiltsmart Certified Instructor, I teach the patterns and techniques from Mattie Rhoades of Quiltsmart. This sample is a 58' Lone Star and a 38" Lone Star interfacing panels added together. I use the 38" Lone Star panels to make the four stars in the corner. The Lone Star in the middle is also the 58" Lone Star pattern from Quiltsmart also. As inspiration, I used a photo of a Gee's Bend quilt that used bold Bark cloth for its background.
