Join us for a night of creativity and couture at An Evening of Whimsical Design—our 2026
Friday fundraising event celebrating artistry, imagination, and the joy of quilting in motion. This one-of-a-kind fashion show will feature stunning quilted garments and accessories designed by talented makers, including our Quilter’s Affair Instructors, SOQS Board members, and local artisans. Each piece tells its own story through color, texture, and design, blending traditional quilting techniques with modern flair.

Wear your favorite quilted piece, mingle with fellow quilt enthusiasts, and be inspired by the artistry on display. You might even have the chance to walk our Whimsical Runway! Many of the featured garments will be available for purchase during Quilt Show Day at our Whimsical Wear Boutique — a special booth dedicated to these one-of-a-kind creations.

Proceeds from this event support the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization dedicated to celebrating the art and community of quilting for generations to come.

FivePines Lodge Conference Center - 1021 E Desperado Trail, Sisters Oregon

Join us for a beautiful day at the FivePine Lodge and Conference Center on Sunday, July 12 with quilt artisan and designer Michelle Wilkie. Originally from New Zealand, and now residing in the United States but quilting is now her bridge to connection and community, and now drives her art practice.

Come listen to Michelle share her artistic practice, which revolves around modern quilting and seamlessly blending traditional techniques with a contemporary twist. Michelle embraces improvisation, minimalism, and color. Michelle’s artistic narrative unfolds through a lens that captures her experiences – a visual dialogue shaped by photography, translating moments into textile works. Each quilt becomes a canvas where emotions and connections intertwine and a story is told. Michelle will be telling her stories through her quilts during our small-group walking tours, and a mid-morning lecture. We encourage you to join Michelle at one or both options
