Soon after moving to the West Coast a decade ago, I was searching for a new creative outlet when my sweet neighbor gave me a jelly roll along with a bout of inspiration, and the rest is history. I love creating quilts for every holiday and people I know, who graciously still act surprised. There is rarely a time when there is not a project or three laid out on my floor or kitchen island. Six years ago, my husband and I moved to Central Oregon, where I’ve felt very welcomed as a member of the East of the Cascades guild. Quilting for me has been an evolution from piecing to free-motion quilting to pattern designing, as I love to challenge myself and to expand my horizons. Along the way, I have made some amazing friends, and it is easy to say I look forward to seeing where my quilting journey will take me next.
